Built to close the gap
DISTRYB was founded on a simple belief — that Black-owned beverage brands deserve the same distribution infrastructure as everyone else.
The American beverage industry runs on relationships — and for decades, those relationships have been built around the same networks, the same distributors, and the same brands. Breaking in is hard. Breaking in as a Black-owned brand is harder.
Most small and emerging brands can't get a distributor to return their calls. Without distribution, they can't get shelf space. Without shelf space, they can't build the sales history that would make a distributor take them seriously. It's a loop designed to keep the same names at the top.
DISTRYB was built to break that loop. We started by distributing a portfolio of Black-owned beer, wine, and spirits brands — giving them real accounts, real sell-through data, and real shelf presence. Then we built the platform that lets any distributor do the same.
We don't just build the road.
We drive on it too.

Founded in Decatur, IL
DISTRYB is operated by Resilient Spirits LLC, a licensed Illinois distributor headquartered in Decatur. We started with a simple mission: build the infrastructure that Black-owned beverage brands have always deserved — and make it available to every brand, distributor, and retailer in the supply chain.
We launched in Illinois because it's where we're headquartered and licensed — but the platform is built for scale. As distributors and retailers in other states join, our catalog and reach grows with them. Every new state is a compliance config, not a code deploy.
The vision is a national platform where any licensed brand can get to market, any distributor can manage their book of business, and any retailer can serve their community — all without switching tabs.
