Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026 · Resilient Spirits LLC dba DISTRYB

About This Policy

This policy covers the DISTRYB platform (distryb.com) — the operating system for beverage businesses. Resilient Spirits LLC dba DISTRYB ("DISTRYB," "we," "us") operates the platform. If you are a consumer shopping on Bottl.Service, the Bottl.Service privacy policy applies to you.

Information We Collect

From your organization and its users we collect: business and contact details; owner and team member names and emails; alcohol license numbers and the states you operate in; federal permit (TTB) and tax identifiers; business and warehouse addresses; and your catalog, inventory, pricing, orders, invoices, and the payout and bank details you connect through Stripe. We collect the information needed to verify your business (KYB), and we may match your license against public state license registries. We also collect usage and device data and use essential cookies to keep you signed in.

How We Use Your Information

To operate the platform and your account; to process wholesale and direct-to-consumer orders, invoices, payments, and payouts; to verify licensing and enforce state three-tier and per-product state-registration rules; to calculate and file beverage excise tax (such as the Illinois RL-26) and sync accounting; to power PLUG, our AI assistant, and platform intelligence; to communicate with you; and to detect and prevent fraud or misuse.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your private business data — such as your costs, margins, customers, or unpublished catalog — with other businesses on the platform. Other businesses see only what you choose to publish, such as public store listings. We share data with service providers strictly to run the platform: Stripe (payments and payouts), Google Cloud and Firebase (hosting, database, authentication), Google (whose Gemini models power PLUG and platform intelligence, processing your inputs only to generate your results), Intuit QuickBooks (accounting sync, if you connect it), and shipping partners such as EasyPost and carriers. We share order and licensing data with the counterparties to your transactions — for example the seller of record, distributor, or retailer — as required to complete and legally document a sale, and with state alcohol regulators when required by law. Your data may transfer as part of a merger, acquisition, or financing.

AI Features (PLUG)

When you use PLUG, your questions and only the account context needed to answer are sent to Google Gemini models to generate a response; we do not sell this data, and it is not used to expose your information to other businesses. PLUG answers from our documentation and your own account data. It does not provide legal, tax, or professional advice, and you are responsible for verifying its output. Do not enter secrets or credentials into PLUG.

Data Retention

We retain your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, and beverage-alcohol recordkeeping obligations. Certain transaction and tax records are retained for the periods required by law, often five years or more.

Your Rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your information by contacting accounts@distryb.com, subject to records we must retain by law. Depending on your state you may have additional privacy rights, including access, correction, deletion, and the right to opt out of certain sharing; we honor these where they apply. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time, but not from transactional messages about your account and orders.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud and Firebase, which employ industry-standard security measures, with TLS encryption in transit, access controls via Firebase security rules, and Stripe PCI-compliant payment infrastructure. Internal staff access is restricted and protected by two-factor authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

DISTRYB is for licensed beverage businesses and their authorized personnel, all of whom must be 21 or older. It is not intended for anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by email.
