Selling
Placing & managing orders
Wholesale (B2B) orders connect a buyer to a seller. Every order is compliance-checked against state three-tier law before it's created, so you can only transact where it's legal.
Placing an order
From your catalog or the buyer dashboard, add products and submit the order. DISTRYB validates the transaction (state paths, the seller's license, the buyer's standing) and stamps the order with its line items and totals.
Order collaboration
Each order has a shared workspace between the buyer and seller:
- Chat — a conversation tied to the order; it also shows up in your Messages inbox.
- ETA & status — the seller can set an estimated ship date; status changes post into the chat automatically.
- Stock & backorders — out-of-stock items are still orderable as make-to-order and flagged as a backorder.
- Expedite — the buyer can request a rush; the seller offers a fee; once accepted it rides onto the invoice.
Tracking orders
Both sides see the order move through its stages (pending → accepted → shipped → received/paid). Producers see the sell side of their trade; buyers see the buy side — the same order, framed for each party.
