How creators are paid
A creator -- a host or affiliate who sells bottles through their link or at their events -- earns a commission on every sale credited to them.
When a sale counts
A sale counts once the payment has gone through. An abandoned checkout or a declined card never counts, and never appears on the Commissions page. If a sale is later refunded or charged back, its commission comes off again.
When the money is sent
Every Wednesday. Each week, everything a creator has earned and not yet been paid is sent in one transfer to the bank account they connected. Wednesday gives a weekend event's card payments time to clear first.
To be paid, a creator needs:
- Payout setup finished -- their bank connected through Stripe.
- No hold on their creator link. A hold on a separate broker account (for wholesale work) does not hold creator payouts.
If a week's payment cannot be sent -- for example the platform's balance has not cleared yet -- it is simply sent the following Wednesday. Nothing is lost.
The Commissions page
- Earned -- commission on every sale that went through.
- Paid -- what has been sent to their bank.
- Outstanding -- the difference: what the next Wednesday will send.
- Payouts -- each transfer, with its date, amount and how many sales it covered.
- Each sale is listed with its event, its commission, and whether it has been paid.
A brand that sponsors creators sees each creator's sales tied to its own business on its Affiliates page.
