Social Team
Your Social Team is the list of real people allowed to represent your business on Bottl.Service, the consumer side of the platform.
It is separate from Team & roles. That one controls who can sign in to DISTRYB and what they can do here. Social Team grants no dashboard access and uses no seat — it only connects a person's own Bottl.Service profile to your business.
Two ways a person can post
- As the company — the post shows your name and logo. A brand account, operated by whoever you authorize.
- As themselves, with your badge — the post shows the person, with a works here badge linking to your business. Their own following grows and your business gets the credit.
The second is the usual one. A bartender building a personal following while repping the bar is the case this was designed for.
Permissions
Each person gets their own settings, and they all start off except affiliated posting:

You also set a role label — bartender, social, owner — which is what appears on the badge.
Adding someone
Open Social Team and invite by their Bottl.Service @handle. Invite by handle rather than email on purpose: hospitality staff often have no work address. They accept from their own account, and nothing is public until they do.
If they don't have a Bottl.Service profile yet, they create one first — it's a free consumer account, and the handle they claim is the one you invite.
Being shown as "works here"
This is the part that links a personal profile to your business page, and it needs both sides:
- You turn on Show the affiliation for that person.
- They turn it on for your business from their own account settings.
Only then does their profile list your business, and your page list them. Either of you can switch it off and it disappears immediately — you are never listed at a business without agreeing, and a business never displays someone who hasn't agreed.
If you are the owner
Your own personal profile is not connected to your business automatically. Add yourself to your Social Team with your own @handle, accept it, and turn on both switches — the same as anyone else. That is what makes your profile show that you own the business, and your business page show you.
Leaving
Remove someone and their authority ends straight away — no new posts in your voice, no badge. Posts they already made stay as a record of what happened.
