Times and time zones
Shown in your time
Every time and date DISTRYB shows you is in your own time zone: orders, invoices, messages, events, reports and emails.
- In the app, times follow your device's clock.
- In emails and PDFs, times follow your business's time zone, which comes from its primary location's address.
Tax and reporting periods run from your business's local midnight to local midnight. A sale at 8 PM on the 31st counts in that month.
A date someone typed, such as a due date, an ETA or an expiry, is that calendar day wherever it is read.
The few things that count in UTC
A small number of allowances and schedules count in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). They are shared across every time zone, so they cannot follow yours.
Wherever one of them is shown, it says UTC and gives your own time next to it. In US time zones, midnight UTC is the evening before: 7 PM Central in summer and 6 PM in winter.
