Put a buy button on your own website

If you own a brand, you can put a Buy now button on your own website and sell to drinkers there, without holding a retail licence yourself.

Where to find it

Brand & Marketing → Buy button in your dashboard lists every product registered to your brands. For each one you can:

  • Copy HTML: a ready-styled button. On Shopify, Squarespace or Wix, add an HTML or embed block and paste it in. It is plain HTML with no script, so it works on site builders that strip scripts.
  • Copy link: the same button as a plain link, for a social bio, an email, or a QR code on a shelf talker.
  • Test it: open the link yourself and see what a shopper sees.

How it looks

The button is yours: set its text (for example "Order now" or "Ship it to me") and its colour, to match your site. The text switches between white and black so it stays readable on whatever colour you choose. The dashboard shows each button exactly as it will appear.

Under every button is one small line: Checkout by Bottl.Service · Powered by DISTRYB. It tells shoppers before they click that checkout happens on Bottl.Service, so arriving there is expected. It cannot be removed.

What a shopper sees

  1. The button opens your product on Bottl.Service and asks where the order is going. Where we can, the state is pre-filled from the shopper's location; they can change it.
  2. If we can ship there, they go to your product page and the normal checkout. Checkout verifies they are 21 or older, works out the tax, and takes the payment. A licensed retailer in that state is the seller of record, and ships it with an adult signature on delivery.
  3. If we can't ship there yet, the page says so plainly and links to your where to buy page, which lists the shops near them that stock you.

The button never tells someone they can order when checkout would refuse them, because it runs the same check checkout does. The compliance page shows where orders ship today; a state opens when a licensed retailer there is set up to sell and ship.

What it does not do

  • It does not make you the seller. The retailer is the seller of record and holds the licence for the sale.
  • It does not pay a commission to anyone or change your fees. The link carries analytics tags only.
  • It does not put checkout inside your own site. The shopper checks out on Bottl.Service.
